Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle

The Special Olympics USA games will take place in Seattle from July 1-6, 2018 and more than 3,000 athletes from around the country will participate.

The Healthy Athletes FUNfitness program developed in cooperation with the APTA will provide screening for athletes throughout the games - and dozens of PT, PTA and PT/PTA student volunteers will be needed to accomplish this. Other healthcare providers and general volunteers also will be needed during the 2018 games.

A Young Athletes program will provide all children from 2-7 years of age with an opportunity to participate in sports together.

Volunteer and Participate

The two-step process to volunteer as a medical provider takes about two-weeks, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible in order to choose the volunteer shifts that work best for you.
